Winbourne Retreat 2014

40 women from near and far loaded their sewing machines, UFO's, PHD's, new projects and old projects in the cars, left husbands and kids at home and set out for a weekend away at the lovely Winbourne estate in Mulgoa. Sewing was done from early in the morning (some were spotted before 7am,) until late at night (some didn't leave the room until close to 2am). Nine patches and Pinwheels disappeared, Jelly races were run and Block of the months projects were finished or brought up to date just to name a few of the more popular projects. Some went shopping, others made the most of precious, uninterrupted sewing time.
